Sending a Fax using the New PISD Fax2mail Solution
To send a fax via email
1. Launch your e-mail client.
2. Create a new message.
3. Attached desired document to your email message. (If not already in electronic format scan and save). Note: (Supported formats .doc, .xls, .jpg, .tiff, pdf)
4. Address the email to the desired 10-digit fax number using the following format:
*Note: 9 or 91 is no longer required to precede the number.
Adding a 9 or 91 will cause the fax to fail.
 Inside PISD: xxxxxxxxxx@fax2mail.com
 Outside PISD: xxxxxxxxxx@fax2mail.com
 Long Distance: xxxxxxxxxx@fax2mail.com
 International: Contact the help desk to complete this process
5. Enter desired information in the subject line.
Example: Att: John Doe
6. Enter any special notes or instructions in the body of the email
*Note: Include Your School Name and fax number (this will be the cover sheet)
7. Send
Once the fax is sent successfully you will receive an email Fax (Success) notification from fax2mail.com.
*Note: No standard departmental cover sheet will be generated. You may create your own and include it in the attached documents.
